Janarus is the culmination of 20 years of experience in the commercial cleaning industry. Through the process of owning several different franchises and commercial cleaning business, Chris Kincade realized that there had to be a better way to build a business:

These fundamental beliefs led to the founding of Janarus and the journey we have chosen to embark on with our community of individuals dedicated to doing business the “right way”.
Starting with nothing and building our previous business to over 500 franchisees, the team at Janarus understands the challenges of building a business from scratch and the value of finding the right company to partner with to smooth out some of the pitfalls along the way. After selling our previous business, Janarus was formed in 2013. The last three years have been a time for us to test and refine our ideas to create our new franchise opportunity which is now available for you!
WHAT DOES “JANARUS” MEAN?
The name Janarus is derived from the fact that we are using the knowledge from our past to envision a new future (derived from the ancient Roman god, Janus), where we are creating a business that is in a class of its own – one of a kind (sui generis). We are on a mission to show the world that business can be a driving force for good in society. Meaning in a name comes not just from the ideas that went into its creation but the daily actions that demonstrate those ideas.
As such, our name has a double meaning. We’ve combined the name “janitor” and “generous” to emphasize our commitment to philanthropy and community involvement. A future where a generous nature is valued as the premise for growing a business. Not only do we serve our clients with excellent commercial cleaning services, we are also passionate about giving back to the communities we serve. Through living our values on a daily basis, Janarus brings life to the concepts that underlie the care with which we chose the name.
