What types of buildings and commercial institutions does Janarus clean?
We serve all types of commercial and corporate venues. Some examples of these include: event centers, corporate headquarters, educational facilities, places of worship, and medical institutions.
How long has Janarus been in existence?
Our family has been working in the commercial cleaning space for over 20 years. Janarus was founded in 2013. We began expanding to offer franchise opportunities in 2016.
Which territories are available for franchising?
Currently, we only have availability in certain parts of Tennessee and Kentucky, with a possibility for Georgia and / or Alabama next year. Call us now to find out more about currently available franchise territories, as well as future opportunities in other regions.
What does the name “Janarus” mean?
The name Janarus is derived from the ancient Roman god, Janus, which is a nod to the fact that we are using the knowledge from our past to envision a new future-a future where we are creating a business that is in a class of its own, one of a kind (sui generis). We are on a mission to show the world that business can be a driving force for good in society. The meaning in our name comes not just from the ideas that went into its creation but the daily actions that demonstrate those ideas. In addition, “Janarus” is also a play on the words “janitor” and “generous.” This captures our fundamental, central philanthropic goals and our desire to give back to our communities-a commitment that is proven by our support of individual opportunities for franchise operators and by our corporate partnerships with non-profits and worthy organizations around the world.
Will I receive training? What will it consist of?
Yes. We provide all the training and support you need to succeed. Beginning with the fundamentals of how to structure and clean different types of facilities, to how to WOW your customers and analyze your financials, we cover it all. We also want you to learn how to know the health of your business and gain leadership skills that aid you in developing your team members. We have carefully developed a system that supports our franchise owners and positions them for success.
What is the recruitment process like for franchise owners?
We utilize a very exclusive selection process that focuses on our core values. Selected operators should feel a sense of pride at being chosen-and solidarity knowing that all our team members are on the same page.
How does Janarus give back to the communities they serve?
Our team supports numerous initiatives at both the global and local levels. We create opportunities for our franchise operators to give back to causes that benefit their communities and are important to them. On a corporate level, we also support organizations we believe in that provide sanitation efforts throughout the world. This includes Saner.gy, a not-for-profit organization that provides affordable access to clean toilets to people living in urban slums through a social franchise model. We support numerous local initiatives that relate to education, the environment, families, and entrepreneurship.
What kind of support would I receive as a franchise operator?
We believe in the importance of supporting our franchise operators completely during every step of the franchise journey. Our support team is available to help you grow your business and develop your leadership skills through each phase. We have taken steps to create an environment where you will receive frequent coaching on a variety of different aspects of your business from one of our performance coaches, as well as a structured learning environment from other franchise operators. All of this is the foundation that will be built upon through numerous webinars and face to face gatherings with one another. We are able to create symbiotic relationships and partnerships with our franchise operators.
